Island Experiences

Boca Chita is the most visited island in the park and each guided tour lasts approximately three hours and includes opportunities to climb Mark Honeywell’s historic 1930s lighthouse (must be at least 42″ tall) and enjoy the fantastic views of the islands, bay, and Miami skyline, explore the island on your own, take a quick dip at the beach, snorkel, paddle, sail, or hike the trail. Fun fact: The lighthouse was never approved to guide ships to safe passage. It draws them instead to the beauty and wonder of the park.
