Visit Boca Chita Key and learn about the park!

Each guided tour lasts approximately three hours and includes opportunities to explore and learn about popular and scenic Boca Chita Key and Biscayne Bay. Climb the lighthouse (must be at least 42″ tall), explore the island, and hike the trail (mosquitoes are prevalent on the trails in the summer). Staff engage you with the history of the park and why mangroves, seagrasses, and hardbottom habitiats are all vital to the health of the local ecosystems. We want to share all the beauty this area has to offer and show how we can be good stewards of the National Park, preserving its unique habitats for generations to come.

Our 25-passenger boat boarding may require navigating 2-4 uneven steps. Please check with the Park store for the current schedule if your preference is an ADA compliant boat by calling 786-335-3644.
